Johannesburg, South Africa – The Legends Awards Organisation NPC will host its 4th Annual Legends Awards at Gold Reef City Lyric Theatre on 25 September 2026. This year Legends Awards will shine a spotlight on Gospel Music. Legends Awards will celebrate the voices and visionaries whose songs of faith have lifted generations strengthened communities and carried a message of hope across South Africa and beyond.
Since its founding in 2023 Legends Awards has grown into a platform dedicated to recognising heroes who do not seek applause but aim for lasting change. Legends Awards 2026 will continue that mission shining a light on gospel artists and ministers whose melodies have become ministries and whose harmonies echo with legacy.

The organisation’s first class in 2023 set the tone for what Legends Awards represent – honouring T.A. Ralekholela, Dr A. Khathide, Rev Kenneth Meshoe and the late Dr S.D. Gumbi for their courage, faith and decades of community service. In 2024 Legends Awards expanded under the banner “Celebrating Extraordinary Lives”. In 2025 the celebration grew even more with a flagship edition in Gauteng and a special edition in Bloemfontein.
This year’s ceremony marks a chapter, for Legends Awards dedicated entirely to gospel music’s most impactful voices and visionaries – individuals whose artistry has shaped faith communities and inspired hope well beyond the stage.
